The Greens invite you to a Comedy Gala starring Claire Hooper (Good News Week) and a veritable feast of local and national comedians including Rod Quantock and Nelly Thomas. A fun night night out for those who think the election should be more than a 2-horse race.
Nelly will be filming a feature-length DVD called The Talk in August 2010 – a DVD for parents and teenagers about how to have “the talk” about s-e-x. Directed by Claire McCarthy and produced by Dirty Work Comedy and Hopscotch Films, “The Talk” will be similar to Nelly’s ground-breaking work in health promotion - it will bring vital health messages about safe and consensual sexual relationships to teens and their parents in an hilarious and interesting way. The DVD is due for release in early 2011, but look out in local media for more about it in August 2010.
We will be touring the No Means No Show in regional Victoria later in 2010. Watch this space for more details as dates and locations are confirmed.
Nelly is also in the process of co-writing an Indigenous version of the highly acclaimed No Means No Show which is due to be piloted in late 2010. Watch this space for more info.
